1. A method of managing virtual disk snapshots comprising:
utilizing a processor to create multiple disk containers containing multiple snapshots on a host machine persistent memory; utilizing a snapshot assembler that utilizes a configuration table to identify the multiple disk containers and the multiple snapshots; utilizing a snapshot technology layer that communicates directly with the guest OS and through the guest OS with a hypervisor; and invoking the snapshot assembler by the guest OS to combine the multiple snapshots on a guest OS, the snapshot assembler utilizing the configuration table to assemble a final snapshot utilized by the guest OS as a virtual disk.
