a tubular member configured to be laparoscopically deployed at a site surrounding a diverticulum on a body lumen, the tubular member comprising:
a working lumen, anda distal end configured to engage in a substantially airtight suction fit with tissue at the site surrounding the diverticulum, wherein the distal end of the tubular member comprises an annular suction flange,wherein, upon application of positive pressure to the working lumen, at least a portion of the diverticulum is inverted into the body lumen.
