FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: stepping motor comprises a stator with teeth and slots made at its inner bore and alternated in the circumferential direction and axial direction. Phase coils are placed at the teeth, and their beginnings are connected to the neutral wire of the power supply source while their ends are connected to a switching device intended for the connection of respective phases of the power supply source. A control unit of the switching device can switch five phase coils forming either an arched or a longitudinal row, with one phase sequence up to the midpoint of the row and opposite phase sequence in the row after the midpoint, simultaneously in order to fixate the rotor. The rotor of the stepping motor comprises an electroconductive part made as a cylinder with a cut along the whole length.EFFECT: consecutive and longitudinal movement of the smooth rotor.10 dwg
