FIELD: physics; clocks.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the clock industry and can be used in making clocks which are additionally provided with a mechanical device for displaying the visible movement of the Moon on the background of stars (real movement of the Moon around the Earth), which is accompanied by continuous change of its appearance. In the mechanical device for displaying the real movement of the Moon around the Earth relative to the Sun, which is interfaced with components of a clock mechanism, the model of the Moon is adapted to move relative to the model of the Earth and is constantly in the same orientation relative to the line of the Earth-Sun models. A clock, having a clock mechanism, a clock face and an analogue time display, additionally includes a mechanical device for displaying the real movement of the Moon around the Earth relative to the Sun. The technical result is making a mechanical device for displaying the visible movement of the Moon on the background of stars which is accurate, reliable, cheap to manufacture and can be installed in virtually any analogue clock (fixed or portable), said movement resulting from the reflection of the real movement of the Moon around the Earth, which is accompanied by change in the appearance of the Moon, wherein the model of the Moon is adapted to move relative to the model of the Earth and is constantly in the same orientation relative to the line of the Earth-Sun models.EFFECT: invention also enables to determine the position of the Moon relative to the Earth and provides visibility thereof at the same point on the Earth.26 cl, 12 dwg |
