FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling of bars and strips, particularly, to articles guides. Device (14) comprises stationary support structure (24) with exposed bottom channel (26) that follows the passage path outline. Higher wear resistance results from the fact that channel (26) has top surface (28) that covers said passage path, sides (30) extending downward from top surface and ledges (32) extending inward from said sides. Wear-resistant inserts (34) are secured in the channel. Said inserts (34) are intended for lining the channel top surface.
