<p>The system is a method for protecting at least one vertical flanged coupling (5) or at least one horizontal flanged coupling (36) against external corrosion in surface installations, which can operate continuously with temperatures up to 80 DEG C, said method comprising the steps of: applying at least one anti-corrosion zinc tape (1, 2, 3) on at least one side face (4) and at least one front face (15) of at least one vertical flanged coupling (5) and at least one horizontal flanged coupling (36); and applying at least one transparent seal (20) against weather conditions and the penetration of external agents on at least one electroconductive adhesive (2) of at least one circular cut-out (9) in at least one special zinc part (7); and applying at least one microcrystalline petroleum wax (22) on at least one groove (19) and on at least one securing stud (41) and on at least one securing nut (10) of at least one vertical flanged coupling (5) and at least one horizontal flanged coupling (3 6); and applying a seal of high-density polyethylene (42) on at least one securing stud (41) and on at least one securing nut (10) of at least one vertical flanged coupling (5) and at least one horizontal flanged coupling (36).
