FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: system (131) of masses of opposite rotation is intended to be used with a row four-cylinder internal combustion engine containing oil tray (134) and having sequence of operation of cylinders 1-3-4-2 (4.1, 4.3, 4.4, 4.2) for balancing of alternating forces of the second order, which are formed on the drive shaft of the engine. The system is arranged in the oil tray and includes central support (21) and two pairs of eccentric masses (22, 23, 24, 25) of opposite rotation, which project from two opposite sides of the supports, and two gear wheels (28, 29), each of which is arranged coaxially to the corresponding pair of eccentric masses of opposite rotation. Each gear wheel is arranged between two corresponding eccentric masses and remains on one side of the central support. Gear wheels are engaged with each other.
