FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coating composite powdered materials which can be used for spray coating. Powder with grain size smaller than 20 mcm is treated in a coating solution which contains a precipitated metal salt, a complexing agent and a reducing agent. Before treatment, the powder is soaked with isopropyl alcohol, mixed, added to the coating solution and treated while mixing, first at 25-30°C for 15-20 minutes and then at 55-60°C to provide complete reduction of ions of the precipitated metal from the coating solution.
