FIELD: power industry.SUBSTANCE: method is intended for water level adjustment in a drum of a heat recovery steam generating unit for a combined cycle power plant. The named method includes determination of an optimum water level in the drum during starting of the heat recovery steam generating unit on the basis of characteristic graphical model. The characteristic graphical model is created on the basis of values of vapour pressure in the drum and values of temperature of metal of the drum at starting of the heat recovery steam generating unit.EFFECT: improvement of efficiency of water level control in the boiler drum.10 cl, 3 dwg
