FIELD: metallurgy.SUBSTANCE: charge is supplied in series to a mixer and a mixing granulator, which represent the first unit of the "Cascade" type and the second unit of the "Cascade" type, which are installed in series. Each of the "Cascade" units includes a drive, a screw and a housing. In the housing of each unit of the "Cascade" type there are grids with holes, knives, a grid with slots and a knife of a stone separating device. A silica-containing raw material with pit humidity of 15-50% and lumps with the diameter of 80-90 mm is loaded from a dosing bunker to the first unit of the "Cascade" type. After the first unit of the "Cascade" type the obtained paste of the silica-containing raw material of intermediate grinding with the particle size of 0.5-1 mm is supplied to the bunker of the second unit of the "Cascade" type, which represents the mixing granulator. At the same time, a magnesium-containing raw material with the fraction size of 0.1-0.63 mm is dosed from the bunker to the second unit of the "Cascade" type in the ratio of 1:4 by weight to the silica-containing raw material.EFFECT: increasing the homogeneity and chemical activity of the charge, enlarging the raw material base, reducing power consumption for the production process and reducing the charge preparation time.4 cl, 2 ex, 1 tbl |
