<p>An item recommending system and method by category are disclosed. The item recommending system comprises: a smart terminal of a recommender which generates and transmits a recommended item message for a predetermined category; and an item recommending server which receives the recommended item message, provides the received recommended item message to the smart terminal of a receiver designated in the smart terminal, performs data mining on the web with respect to the category, extracts an analyzed predetermined recommended item, and provides the extracted recommended item to the smart terminal of the receiver, wherein the category includes a plurality of upper categories and sub-categories. According to the item recommending system and method by category as described above, the recommender transmits a specific format of a recommended item message to the receiver by text or image, and systematic sharing of recommendation information is activated. In addition, both of the recommendation information based on data mining on the web and the recommended item messages among persons are provided, and various kinds of recommendation information are provided through various routes.</p> |
