<p>Regulating unit (1) for providing an output signal with a regulated output frequency and output voltage. The regulating unit (1) comprises an input connection that is connectable to an electric generator (10) driven by a power drive (2), and at least one output connection that is connectable to at least one consumer (3; 16; 17). The regulating unit (1) comprises a frequency regulator (12) that is arranged to control the output frequency, wherein the output frequency substantially increases linearly with increasing speed of the drive in a range from 0 to a nominal frequency, and above the nominal frequency is kept substantially constant. The regulating unit (1) is also arranged so that after receiving an external signal the output frequency is regulated back to a lower frequency and then, after a predetermined period of time the output frequency is allowed to increase linearly again.</p> |
