The cooler (1) has an air ventilation duct (2) whose one end consists of an air outlet in a passenger compartment of a vehicle, and a coolant injection unit (3) intended to inject a coolant sprayed in the duct and upstream of the air outlet. The sprayed coolant is a cloud of water droplets. The injection unit includes injector channels (4) arranged in the duct so as to inject the sprayed coolant in homogeneous manner on an aeraulic section assembly of the duct. The channels are placed on a screen (5) that is arranged across the duct.
