<p>The present invention relates to a smart phone application for minimizing human damage by automatically detecting traffic accidents with a smart phone. The purpose of the present invention is to improve the problem of accident reports being delayed due to serious injuries including passing out and to facilitate the investigation and prevention of hit-and-runs. The smart phone application measures movement speed, acceleration change, and movement direction change of a driver (pedestrian) by the use of features of a smart phone like an acceleration sensor, gyroscope, GPS module, or the like; detects the situation of an accident automatically to recognize the type of accident; rings an alarm for 30 seconds with sound and vibration; and transmits accident type data and accident location to the police and initiates an emergency call if the user does not stop the operation of the application. Therefore, the present invention can minimize human damage by decreasing the accident processing time when a serious traffic accident occurs; quickly relieve congestion or secondary accidents possibly generated by the traffic accident; and may be generally used by anyone without extra cost.</p> |
