[Class 39 (i)] In the production of a photo-sensitive screen for cathode-ray tubes, a plate of aluminium 1 is electrolytically oxidized on its surface 2, and a silver coating 3 is applied to the oxidized surface. The plate is then heated to a temperature of the order of 400‹ C. to cause the oxide and silver layers to separate into small portions which are then sensitized with caesium &c. |
