The present invention relates to a biological cycle-providing apparatus and method and, more particularly, to a biological cycle-providing apparatus and method which sense temperature by using a temperature sensor provided in a portable terminal and provide an ovulation day or a monthly period using a temperature change sensed during a predetermined time period. The biological cycle-providing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an analysis unit for determining at least one of an ovulation expected date and a menstruation expected date with reference to a pattern of temperature change sensed during a predetermined time period; and an output unit for outputting at least one of the ovulation expected date and the menstruation expected date according to the result of the determination. |
