<p>Provided is a storage-system management computer that stores manager capability information which relates to the task performance capabilities of multiple storage managers, and management-request and task-management information which prescribes a correspondence relationship between management requests concerning storage-system management and tasks for implementing these management requests. Upon receiving a management request concerning storage- system management, the storage-system management computer, on the basis of the management-request and task-management information, generates multiple tasks for implementing the received management request. On the basis of the manager capability information, the storage-system management computer allocates, for each generated task, a predetermined storage manager as the person responsible for performing the task.</p> |
