METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING DESIRED CELL TYPE USING miRNA EXPRESSION AS AN INDICATOR

This is a method for identifying cell type with a high degree of accuracy while the cell is still alive. This method for identifying desired cell type includes the following steps, and uses as an indicator the expression of miRNA from cell groups containing two or more cell types: (1) a step in which mRNA which contains a marker gene functionally concatenated to the target sequence of miRNA which acts as an indicator is introduced into a cell; and (2) a step in which cells are identified, using the translation level of said marker gene as an indicator.
