摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a sponge having a spiral incision line for sectional purging of a pipe, which can immediately make a sponge having a spiral incision line in the welding site for inserting the sponge into a pipe for welding and, after welding is completed, easily extracting the sponge from the inside of the pipe. The method for manufacturing a sponge having a spiral incision line for sectional purging of a pipe according to a desirable embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of designing a processing plate having an incision groove in the center with a drawing for forming a spiral incision line on both sides to make it easy to extract a sponge, which seals the inside of a pipe when argon or nitrogen gas is injected for preventing oxidation of the internal wall of the pipe during sectional purging of a welded part of the pipe, from the inside of the pipe; a step of manufacturing a pair of processing plates for them to be the same with the drawing framed in the design step; a step to locate the sponge in between the pair of processing plates manufactured in the manufacturing step and fixating the sponge with a fastening means for the sponge to be fixated in between the pair of processing plates; and a step of processing a spiral incision line on the sponge fixated in between the pair of processing plates in the fixating step.</p>
