PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encode multi-channel signals efficiently.SOLUTION: When encoding is performed, first processing including principal component analysis for each frequency is performed for a series of a multi-channel signal of the frequency domain corresponding to the input time series signals of a plurality of channels. The series of the intrinsic signal which is the series of the signal by which dimension contraction is carried out and a tensor series which is the series of a basement are obtained. An intrinsic signal code is obtained by encoding the series of the intrinsic signal, and a tensor code is obtained by encoding the series of the tensor. When decoding is performed, the series of decoded tensor is obtained by decoding the input tensor code, and the series of a decoded intrinsic signal is obtained by decoding the input intrinsic signal code. With the series of the decoded tensor as the series of the basement, the series of the decoded intrinsic signal is applied and the series of decoded multi-channel signal decoded in dimension is obtained.
