The present invention relates to a method for preparing a polyvinyl alcohol based composite film which forms a polyvinyl alcohol based aqueous solution coating layer on a substrate and adjusting an injection angle, temperature and speed of heating air when drying is performed, thereby being capable of manufacturing the polyvinyl alcohol based composite film with excellent physical properties such as thickness deviation, fog mura, haze, water content, etc. so it can provide a polyvinyl alcohol based polarizing plate with an enhanced performance using the composite film.
