PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel sensor comprising at least a transparent base material, a sensor electrode and circumferential metal wiring, the touch panel sensor capable of suppressing migration of a metal included in the circumferential metal wiring that occurs at high humidity and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: Circumferential metal wiring of a touch panel sensor comprises one kind of metal selected from metal including gold, silver, copper and aluminum or an alloy combining two kinds thereof, or an alloy combining one or more kinds from metal including gold, silver, copper or aluminum and one or more kinds of metal selected from metal including titanium, nickel, palladium, molybdenum, tantalum, platinum, niobium, lutetium, iridium, indium, tungsten and rhodium. A water-repellent layer is formed so ad to cover the circumferential metal wiring. A manufacturing method of the touch panel sensor is also provided. |
