<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance of a drive device for an electric automobile with lubricant to thereby extend a travel range and improve rating output.SOLUTION: In a drive device for an electric automobile, by providing an open hole 57 in a cylindrical part 51 of an outer pin housing 50, lubricant that did not contribute to lubrication of each part, among lubricant scattered inside a speed reducer B with rotation, is scattered from the open hole 57 to the outer part of the outer pin housing 50, and adheres to the inner diameter surface of a casing 22b; and for a period until lubricant adhering to the inner diameter surface of the casing 22b flows into an oil tank 41 in the lower part of the casing 22b with gravity, heat of lubricant is thermally conducted to the casing 22b, and temperature of lubricant is reduced.</p> |
