摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a continuously variable transmission into a rotation state to carry out turning-to-low and to prevent starting rearward at a high gear ratio before start of starting rearward at a time of starting rearward in an electric travel mode.SOLUTION: If it is determined that an operation for selecting an R range is performed in S11, an engine is started in S12 to disengage a continuously variable transmission mechanism (CVT) from wheels by a neutral state of a sub-transmission so as to turn the CVT into a state in which a gear ratio can be shifted. A CVT actual gear ratio is acquired in S13, and a CVT required gear ratio for starting rearward that is a gear ratio as high as possible within a gear ratio range within which driving power can be output to be necessary to enable the CVT to have a gear ratio for starting rearward without causing insufficient driving power in response to engine output by operating an accelerator at engine start from a road surface gradient in a rearward direction is calculated in S14. The gear ratio of the CVT is shifted back to low so as to have the required gear ratio in S15 to S18, the sub-transmission is switched into a rear range gear selecting state in S19, and the engine is torque-controlled to output a torque in response to accelerator operation at start rearward in S20.
