PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent oil from infiltrating through the inside of a power cable in an LED illumination device.SOLUTION: An LED illumination device includes: a device body (10) incorporating a light source and a circuit board (15) for performing lighting drive of the light source, and having an irradiation surface for radiating light of the light source to the outside; mounting means (20A, 20B) for mounting the device body on various devices and a wall surface and a ceiling of a building; and a power cable (30) in which one end is mounted on the device body. At a wall body of the device body, an insertion part in which the power cable is inserted is provided. In the vicinity of the insertion part in the device body, relay means (17) is provided for connecting a core wire of an inner cord (18) for a power source connected to the circuit board and a core wire of the power cable, and an oil absorber (oil absorbing material) having electrical insulation properties and curability is adhered so as to cover an upper part of the relay means. |
