摘要 The invention relates to an optoelectronic component comprising, according to one embodiment, an organic light-emitting diode (2), which is provided for emitting radiation through a main emission surface (31), and a liquid crystal element (1) for adjusting a set of chromaticity coordinates of the radiation emitted by the organic light-emitting diode (2) through the main emission surface (31). The liquid crystal element (1) can be switched into a first state and into a second state. In the first state, the liquid crystal element is suitable for selectively reflecting light of a first wavelength range. In the second state, the liquid crystal element is transparent. Light of the first wavelength range that is emitted toward the back side (32) by the organic light emitting diode (2) is at least partially reflected in the direction of the main emission surface (31) in the first state of the liquid crystal element (1). The invention further relates to a method for operating the optoelectronic component (3).
