The present invention relates to a method for learning vocabulary which can enhance the level of concentration and improve learning efficiency by providing visual contents by using an animation to represent a situation related with the target words to learn. The system includes a vocabulary learning server which comprises: a learning data storage part, a learning contents database, a learning contents extracting part, a learning contents providing part, and a learning proceeding part. The learning data storage part stores login data of a learner and learning progress data of each learner. The learning contents database part stores: individual word contents composed of a target word, group word contents composed by grouping a number of target words, animation contents wherein a situation including the group word contents is represented in an animation and the process of materializing the animation is composed of a number of frames, learning sentence contents that contain all of the individual target word contents composing the group word contents and are composed of at least one sentence describing the animation situation, learning contents which include voice lecture contents composed of a lecturer′s lecture data of the group words contents and the animation contents. The learning contents extracting part extracts required learning contents from the learning contents database part. The learning contents providing part provides extracted learning contents to a learner. The learning proceeding part proceeds learning by providing learning contents by mutually interlocking relevant learning parts in the learning server. in accordance with the learning progress of a learner and the request of the learner when a log-in of the learner is confirmed.
