<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing apparatus configured to improve heating efficiency of a heating roller, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A fixing apparatus 18 includes: a heating roller 41; a heater (halogen lamp 60) having one end protruding from an opening of the heating roller 41; and a terminal cover 90 covering at least a part of a terminal 63 arranged in the one end of the heater. The terminal cover 90 includes: a cover section 91 for covering at least a part of the terminal 63; and a projection wall 92 which protrudes from the cover section 91 in a direction crossing an axis line of the heating roller 41, to cover at least a part of the opening (a through hole 81 of a roller gear 80) of the heating roller 41.</p> |
