<p>Provided is a vacuum pump which makes it possible to decrease the number of component parts therein, and also to thinly form a holder. A vane pump (1) equipped with a housing (2) having a pump chamber (2A) in the interior thereof, and also equipped with a check valve (52) which is provided on one section of the housing (2), forms a suction passage (6), introduces air inside a brake booster device into the pump chamber (2A) of the housing (2) upstream from the suction passage (6), and blocks the flow of the air in the opposite direction, wherein: the check valve (52) is provided with a pipe (61) inserted into the housing (2), a valve body (62) positioned inside a space formed by the pipe (61) and the housing (2), and a spring (63) for elastically supporting the valve body (62); and the housing (2) is provided with a receiving part (2E) for engaging an end of the spring (63) on the opposite side thereof from the valve body (62).</p> |
