The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus of separating metals. The method of separating metal according to the present invention, which separates metals from a metal solution containing a first metal and a second metal, comprises the steps of: reacting the metal solution using a Couette-taylor reactor under the condition that the first metal and the second metal have different precipitation tendencies of metal hydroxide; and separating effluents in the Couette-taylor reactor into solid-liquid phases.
