PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve processing efficiency of a workflow on data generated in a device.SOLUTION: A device includes: a receiving section which receives a request to execute a combination of a plurality of sequential processing units, which is defined in definition information on data to be generated by the device; a first processing control section which controls execution of some of the processing units, on the basis of the definition information; and a transmission section which transmits a result of executing a processing unit controlled by the first processing control section and information indicating the processing unit executed in the device, to an information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus includes: a receiving section which receives the result of executing the processing unit and information indicating the processing unit executed in the device; and a second processing control section which identifies a processing unit which has not been executed in the device, on the basis of the information indicating the processing unit executed in the device, and controls execution of the identified processing unit on the basis of the definition information. |
