PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tax refund proxy system for substitutively executing a tax refund to a user purchasing a tax-free article.SOLUTION: The tax refund proxy system includes a unique barcode attached to a tax-free article in a tax exemption application unit, a duty-free shop terminal (21), an inspection counter terminal (31) for performing tax-free article inspection at a departure place, and a server (11). The duty-free shop terminal has means for transmitting tax exemption application information including barcode information read from the barcode, purchase information and user information to the server, the inspection counter terminal has means for transmitting a barcode collation request together with the barcode information read from the barcode to the server, and receiving a barcode collation result and the acceptance/rejection of a tax refund from the server to display the barcode collation result and the acceptance/rejection of the tax refund, and the server has means for receiving the tax exemption application information to register it in a database, receiving the barcode collation request, collating the barcode collation request with a database, determining the acceptance/rejection of a tax refund, and transmitting the barcode collation result and the acceptance/rejection of the tax refund to the inspection counter terminal. |
