PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sirocco type centrifugal air blower capable of enhancing cooling efficiency and capable of suppressing noise.SOLUTION: A sirocco type centrifugal air blower includes a casing 11 having a base part 12 on one surface 11A, a motor part 13 attached to the base part 12 in such a manner that a shaft is vertical to the base part 12, a rotor housing 14 rotated around the shaft by driving of the motor part 13, a multi-blade fan 15 coaxially arranged with the shaft around the rotor housing 14, and a spoke 16 connecting the rotor housing 14 and the multi-blade fan 15. The casing 11 has air intake ports 17A and 17B on the surface 11A and a surface 11B on respective end sides of the shaft of the motor part 13, and the spoke 16 is provided near the base part 12 and is formed in a shape of a blade to take in air into the casing 11. |
