<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser cutting method which prevents the occurrence of such a situation that a desirable cutting cannot be obtained because groove wall surfaces are narrowed or stuck to each other even when the cutting groove width is minimized, in the laser cutting method in which a material to be cut is fixed to a base for laser cutting on respective portions of both sides holding such a line that the material to be cut is predetermined to be cut thereon and a laser beam for performing irradiation with a prescribed spot diameter is scanned along such a line that the material to be cut is predetermined to be cut thereon.SOLUTION: A material 10 to be cut is covered with a magnet sheet 30 on respective portions 13 and 15 of both sides holding such a line L1 that the material 10 to be cut is predetermined to be cut thereon, the magnet sheet 30 is magnetically stuck to an upper surface 22 of a base 20 and the material 10 to be cut is fastened to the base 20. The magnet sheet 30 has such a fastening force or a contacting state that heat expansion toward the side opposite to the line L1 that the material 10 to be cut of the respective portions 13 and 15 of the material 10 to be cut due to irradiation of a laser beam La is allowed. Thereby, heat expansion of the respective portions holding a cutting groove due to heat input and melting upon laser cutting is allowed and, therefore, the desirable cutting is provided.</p> |
