The invention relates to a paper bag (10) for bulk material such as cement, plaster, granulate, and animal feed among others, comprising a bottom (2), preferably a cross bottom or block bottom, and an upper part (3) which lies opposite the bottom and in which optionally a valve tube (4) is arranged for filling the paper bag. The paper bag has at least one paper layer with an overlap (22) which is sealingly adhered towards the bag interior, and the paper layer face facing the bag interior has an air-permeable region in the region of the overlap (22), said region being covered by the paper layer face facing the bag exterior. The at least one paper layer has a water-repellent/water-tight coating facing the bag exterior at least in some areas. |
