<p>According to the present invention, a face milling tool (101) comprises: a central rotational shaft line (C1) to rotate a tool; and a tool main body (102) including at lat one insert sheet formed in a transition part between an envelope surface (106) and a front end (104) of the tool. Moreover, the tool comprises at least one cutting insert (1) mounted on the insert sheet, and the cutting insert includes: an upper side to define an upper extension plane; a cutting edge extended around the circumference of the upper side; and a lower side to define a lower extension plane oriented towards a bottom support surface of the insert sheet. The central shaft line is vertically extended through the upper extension plane and the lower extension plane. The tool is formed in order that a main cutting edge part is in an entry angel k which is smaller than 80°, the upper extension plane is at a radial tipping-in angle of -60°<=γf <= -25°and an axial tipping-in angle of -20°<=γm <= 0°, and an inclined angle of the main cutting edge part is within a range of 15°<=λ<= 50°.</p> |
