PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine which can suppress breakage of a permanent magnet.SOLUTION: A permanent magnet 33 of a rotor 30 has a projection part 42 which projects toward a rotor core 32 at a center part in a peripheral direction. An inside surface facing the rotor core 32 of surfaces of the permanent magnet 33 is composed of a first contact part 43 which is positioned at a part corresponding to the projection part 42 in the peripheral direction and is in surface contact with the rotor core 32; and a first non-contact part 44 which is positioned on both sides with the first contact part 43 in between in the peripheral direction and is in non-contact with the rotor core 32. Thus, it is possible to keep a contact area between the permanent magnet 33 and the rotor core 32 necessary minimum and to make a range to manage dimensional accuracy as much as small. Thus, it is suppressed that a gap is formed between a center part in the peripheral direction of the permanent magnet 33 and the rotor core 32, and an external force added to the permanent magnet 33 can be received by the rotor core that is in contact with the first contact part 43 of the permanent magnet 33. |
