PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electrode for a thin film lithium ion battery free from problems such as uneven thickness and uneven density of a layer composed of compression molded powder containing an electrode active material, or the like, and having enhanced reliability, safety, discharge efficiency and cycle life.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing the electrode for a lithium ion battery, a pair of press rolls are arranged so that the other roll 4B is provided above one roll 4A, and the position of a press roll 4 where powder is supplied, and the angle for conveying a substrate on which a powder layer is formed to the press point of a pair of press rolls 4 are regulated using the powder-specific angle of repose. |
