PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for vehicle evacuation operation by performing first fail-safe operation not with output stop, when a cooling device is normal.SOLUTION: A motor system controller determines, in a MCU22, whether or not an abnormality occurs in a temperature sensor 41 for detecting the temperature of a motor 4, and whether or not an abnormality occurs in a cooling device 30. When a determination is made that an abnormality does not occur in a cooling device 30, and that an abnormality occurs in the temperature sensor 41, the MCU22 performs first fail-safe control with no output stop, and when a determination is made that an abnormality occurs in the cooling device 30, and that an abnormality occurs in the temperature sensor 41, performs second fail-safe control for stopping the output of the motor 4. |
