摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle controller capable of suppressing the occurrence of hunting of control over an electric motor at a time of changing over the state of an engagement mechanism.SOLUTION: A controller 30 of the present invention executes a rotational speed control first to output torque from a first motor generator so that a rotational speed of the first motor generator 11 is zero if a predetermined engagement condition is met during operation of an internal combustion engine 10, and executes an engagement control to change over a lock mechanism 13 to an engaged state if an engagement changeover condition is met during execution of the rotational speed control. The controller 30 is prohibited from executing the engagement control if a temperature Tinv1 of a first inverter 23 of the first motor generator 11 is equal to or higher than an engagement prohibition temperature Ta lower than a use upper limit temperature Tul during execution of the rotational speed control.
