<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power-assisted fire hose vehicle having rich operability and including, as a throttle for controlling an electric motor, a slide type throttle sliding back and forth along a travel direction of the hose vehicle, by replacing a conventional throttle grip by twist of the wrist.SOLUTION: The electric power-assisted fire hose vehicle comprises: a body having a loading place for loading a fire hose; a pull provided at the front of the body; a pair of left/right wheels provided at the body; electric motors assembled in the respective wheels; and a throttle consisting of a potentiometer provided at the pull for controlling the rotation torque of the electric motors. The electric power-assisted fire hose vehicle employs, as the throttle, a slide type throttle that, when an operator such as a fire man slides the throttle in the longitudinal direction along the travel direction of the hose vehicle, enables ON/OFF of a power supply to the electric motor and the control of the rotation torque.</p> |
