<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control unit capable of supplying a server device with sufficient power from a battery that is sufficiently charged when power supply from a commercial power supply is stopped such as in a case of power outage.SOLUTION: The power control unit includes a power control part. The power control part reduces power consumption of an information processing unit on the basis of a measured power value of power supplied from a commercial power supply to the power control part and a measured power value of charging/discharging power of a battery, and, when power is not supplied from the commercial power supply, outputs to a battery charging/discharging circuit a charging control signal for charging the battery to supply the information processing unit with power.</p> |
