<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device which enables easy attachment and detachment of a hand strap, and to provide an attachment method of the hand strap.SOLUTION: A portable device includes: an attachment boss part 15 for fixing a strap having a loop part 18; and a fixing part 17 attached to the attachment boss part 15. The hand strap is attached to a housing 11 by fixing the fixing part 17 to the attachment boss part 15 with the loop part 18 of the hand strap 12 hung on the attachment boss part 15.
