<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester resin suitable as a raw material of a powder coating, and a resin composition for a powder coating which is excellent in weather resistance and smoothness of a coating film and excellent in low-temperature curability.SOLUTION: The polyester resin is obtained by a polycondensation reaction of a 1,3,4,6-tetrakis(carboxyalkyl)glycoluril compound represented by formula (I) with a glycol compound. The resin composition for a powder coating contains the polyester resin and aβ-hydroxyalkylamide-based curing agent. (n is 0 or 1; and Rand Rare each independently H or a lower alkyl group.)</p> |
