FLUORINE TREATMENT MATERIAL AND TREATMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine treatment agent and treatment method capable of decreasing a fluorine ion concentration of fluorine-containing water by collecting fluorine with high efficiency at a low cost from water of a fluorine ion concentration of 10-100 mg/L.SOLUTION: A fluorine ion concentration of fluorine ion-containing water is decreased by passing: a process P1 of adding to fluorine ion-containing water 1, a fluorine treatment agent 2 containing active sludge including at least one organism selected from eubacteria, archaebacteria and eukaryotic organisms which are obtained by culturing microorganisms discharged from a water treatment facility or a digestion tank in a food factory, or used in a water treatment facility or a digestion tank; and a process 2 of separating a fluorine treatment agent 3 collecting fluorine ion by filtering a mixture obtained in the process p1, and obtaining water 4 decreased in a fluorine ion concentration.
