<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which maintains the inside of an indoor unit of the air conditioner clean while suppressing deterioration of cooling/heating capacity caused by decrease in an air amount in an indoor unit ventilation flue.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a filter for collecting dust of indoor air sucked from an air suction port; a heat exchanger for exchanging heat with the indoor air passing through the filter; a blower fan blowing the indoor air which has exchanged heat with the heat exchanger out of the air blowout port; a cleaning brush for relatively moving on the filter and removing the dust collected at the filter; an ion generator having an ion generating electrode for generating ions for charging the dust; and high voltage application device for imparting a potential reverse to the dust charged by the ion generator to the cleaning brush. After charging the dust by the ion generator, while imparting the potential reverse to the dust charged by the high voltage application device to the cleaning brush, the cleaning brush is relatively moved on the filter.</p> |
