<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared detection element and an infrared detector using the same capable of improving detection sensitivity.SOLUTION: The infrared detection element is arranged so that infrared rays which pass outer side of front side detection electrodes 6 and 7 on a pyroelectric substrate 8 are reflected in a direction of the front side detection electrodes 6 and 7 respectively by infrared ray reflection planes 11, 12 and 13, which are inclined toward the front side detection electrodes 6 and 7 at the detection electrodes 9 and 10 side, which are positioned at the rear side than the front side detection electrodes 6 and 7. As a result, the detection sensitivity is enhanced.</p> |
