<p>The present invention relates to a mobile terminal which receives multimedia data by using a plurality of channels, and to a method for receiving and managing multimedia data in the mobile terminal. The present invention is characterised by comprising: a wireless communication unit, which receives wireless data from a plurality of external servers which are connected using a plurality of different protocols; a memory, which stores part of the data for one or more multimedia files on the basis of the selection of a user; and a control unit, which, if there is a play request for any one of the one or more multimedia files, plays pre-stored data of the multimedia file corresponding to the play request, and, whilst the pre-stored data is being played, receives, from the plurality of external servers, the remaining data for the multimedia file requested to be played, and plays the pre-stored data in succession.</p> |
