PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a word bilingual degree estimation device for estimating the bilingual degree of a word pair from a plurality of bilingual text pairs of two different languages.SOLUTION: The word bilingual degree estimation deice 1 includes word translation probability calculation means 15 for calculating a first translation probability that a word in one language is translated into a word in the other language, and a second translation probability in the opposite direction, word link number totaling means 16 for defining a smaller one between a number obtained by multiplying the number of words in on language by the first translation probability and a number obtained by multiplying the number of words in the other language as a link number of word pairs and totaling the link numbers in a plurality of translation test pairs, correlation intensity calculation means 17 for calculating a logarithmic likelihood ratio of word pairs on the basis of the totaled link numbers, and bilingual degree determination means 18 for determining whether a word pair has a bilingual relation on the basis of the totaled link numbers and defining a logarithmic likelihood ratio to word pairs having a bilingual relation as a bilingual degree. |
