PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of employing a notification method which gives a smaller mental shock to a user when notifying the user of state change of the refrigerator.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes lighting means of lighting up the inside of the refrigerator and lighting control means of controlling the lighting means. In a case where a door opening and closing the refrigerator stays open continuously for a predetermined time or longer, the lighting control means blinks the lighting means and changes a lighting color, or lowers the brightness of the lighting means. Further, in a case where the number of times of opening and closing of the door opening and closing the refrigerator should be within a unit time, the lighting control means blinks the lighting means and changes a lighting color, or lowers the brightness of the lighting means on condition that the number of times of opening and closing of the door within the unit time exceeds a predetermined number of times. |
